Overview

After the completion of Episodes 9 – 16, you should feel comfortable with some of the most common tools in Photoshop. Let’s do something fun with what you’ve learned. In this assignment, you will mate two or more movies together to form a cute little movie baby. You are to take any number (at least two) of movies and mate them together. It can be any genre of the movie other than porn.

The concept should be what-if these two (or more) movies were one. You can use movie stills, movie posters, or movie ads for this assignment.

Instructions
  1. Take a look at some examples listed at http://www.designcrowd.com/community/contest.aspx?id=1680250.
  2. Create a new PSD file inside Photoshop. Set your file size as 1200 x 1800 pixels with 72 PPI.
  3. In your new movie poster, please include
    • elements from both original movie posters
    • a new movie title
    • a new slogan
    • your full name in the bottom-right corner
  4. Save your new poster file as JPG.
  5. Create a new page on your Weebly site and upload three image files (two original movie posters and your newly mated poster).
Submitting and Posting
    1. To submit your work, post URL of your Weebly page to the corresponding link under Submissions inside Moodle before 11:59 p.m. U.S. EST/EDT on the following Monday.
